Fuernis

Fuernis, based in Vienna, started in 1993 with high quality and educational toys. Some of their first bestselling products are now classics in the toy sector.

Constant contact with the young customers is where they get valuable impulses helping them to understand what makes a good toy.

Their lovingly designed dolls are produced in cooperation with the Selyn Socio-Economic Development Foundation Sri Lanka, a grassroots effort to relieve poverty and empower Sri Lankan youth and women by means of education, vocational training, credit-provisions and other developmental tools. Selyn is a full member of the World Fair Trade Association, a trading partnership, based on dialogue, transparency and respect, that seeks greater equity in international trade.

The cuddly dolls, Mike and Dora, are made of handwoven cotton; their sweet faces and all anatomical details are a product of the magical capabilities of craftsmen.
